The registration is finished! If you find yourself in the list of participants of KYIV SPRING 2005 International Youth Debate Tournament please have a careful look on the information indicated below:
1. The Tournament
The Tournament shall take place in Kyiv, Ukraine. Date: April 30 – May 2, 2005. Organizer: Debate Federation “Stolytsya”, Konrad Adenauer Fund, School for Policy Analysis of Kyiv Mohyla Academy, NGO “Artists’ Club”, All-Ukrainian NGO „Center for Democracy Development”, Youth NGO “Legal Society”.
2. The Language of Debating
The working languages of the Tournament are Ukrainian and English. Always remember what track you are registered in. Be ready to debate in language you have chosen!
3. The Registration Fee
The Registration Fee is 20 ˆ (Euro) per person. It shall be paid during registration procedure in the early beginning of the Tournament.
4. The Motto of the Tournament
Tournament is titled „Think Europe!” which means that
participants will explore the challenges faced by both European Union
and its neighbors.
The range of discussion is quiet wide – Europe, the EU and neighboring
countries, history, law, economics, politics, international relations,
security etc.
Be ready for the substantial debate!
5. The Procedure of the Tournament
Ware planning to held 4 preliminary rounds. All registered teams should participate therein. Then we shall proceed with semi-finals and “Le Grande Finale”.
6. The Format of the Tournament
The Format is British Parliamentary Debate or Worlds.
7. The Transport Details
We expect to receive information regarding your arrival/departure (–
date, hours of arrival/departure, mode of transport etc. – the Transport
Details) as soon as possible.
Taking into consideration the distances, borders and holidays we
strongly recommend you to book round-trip tickets.
Please let us know your Transport Details as far as you’ll book your
tickets.
