Kyiv Regional University Students Debate TournamentApril 26, 2003 STOLYTSYA Debate Federation and DIALOG Foundation organized Kyiv Regional Parliamentary Debate Tournament for university students. List of Universities that sent their participants to the tournament include: Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (Faculty of Law, Faculty of Physics, Institute of International Relations ), Kyiv State Academy of Water Transport, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, National Economic University, National Linguistic University, Ukrainian Humanitarian Lyceum and Klovsky Lyceum. We want to acknowledge a large number of teams that took part in the tournament, debaters' deep interest in the problem of the upcoming Constitutional reform. The organizers also managed to fundraise for the prizes to the tournament winners and top-speakers. And what is more important, after the tournament participants adopted the resolution that included students propositions on what changes are desirable in the Constitution and sent it to the Ministry of Justice. Unfortunately, it was a bolt from the blue, that the team of Kostyantyn Zadoya and Tetyana Opanasyuk "Magic Touch" didn't manage it to the Semi-finals. We would like to make our apologies, this happened due to the system of points calculation. Îrganizers: STOLYTSYA Debate Federation & DIALOG All-Ukrainian Charity Foundation.
